Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri is an Indian actress, who gained recognition for her performance in Hum Aapke hain Koun and Beta Saajan. Her career began in the 1980s. The role she played as Anil Kapoor in the Tezaab film earned her an enormous amount of attention. The next film she acted in, Dil, Aamir Khan appeared along with her. Her birthplace was in a Mumbai middle-class family, and started dancing at a young age. She began acting when she was a youngster and struggled for a few years as most of her first films ended up being flops. Her fame grew and she became one of India's leading film actors. She took a hiatus from her acting career after her marriage before returning into the entertainment business. She recently was the main character in Gulaab Gang about Indian women. Dixit is nominated to win the fifteen Filmfare Awards, out of which she received eight. Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian prize given to civilians in India is bestowed to Dixit. Her work in the social sector is well-known.
