Rosalia

Rosalia Vila, also known as Rosalia, is a Spanish performer of flamenco. Since she was as a teenager, the singer has been involved in popular and the traditional genres of music. But, her musical interests also extend to different genres like hip-hop and soul. Her voice is described by no less a musician than flamenco Pepe Habichuela as crystal clear and smooth, yet that has a smoky tinge like classic ones. El Mal Querer, her second album following Los Angeles in 2017, proved to be both a critical and commercial hit. It debuted at the top of Billboard's Latin Pop Albums Chart and was awarded the Grammy. In 2021, the single La Fama with The Weeknd was released. Motomami, her third album included songwriting collaborations with Cory Henry, James Blake and other performers. In March 2022 the set was launched following SNL's appearance on Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was solo for the first time Saturday Night live. In addition to winning three additional Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia, she also became the first female to be awarded this award twice. Latin Album of the Year twice.
