Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew as a child in Mexico in a family who was passionate about music. As a child, she was exposed to many traditional music as well as traditional boleros. In addition, she was a fan of the traditional romance ballads as well as ranchero. Ana loves Tangos, opera, and any form of dramatic performance. Ana started learning how to play the piano and sing at an early age together with her mom. She was given more formal singing instruction at the age of 16 old, under the legendary Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. At the School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico continued her music education. While a student, and being a young professional in Mexico City and Guadalajara she performed with various chamber groups and choirs. She sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to southern California. She is currently performing traditional Latin American songs at private events as a soloist. as a music teacher and musician she has volunteered for various community-based projects because of her passion and passion for music. Ana was also a member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana is privileged to be able share with others her passion for the tradition of Latin American music. She hopes that this will inspire younger generations to preserve the traditions.
